    Ingredients:
    1/2 cup rice
    1/4 cup split moong dal (washed) available at Indian grocery store
    3 cups of water
    1 tablespoon oil
    1-1/2 teaspoons salt
    1 cup yogurt (curd or dahi)
    1/4 cup shredded cucumber (kheera)
    1/4 cup shredded carrots (gajar)
    1 tablespoon finely chopped ginger (adrak)
