    Simnett Nutrition says:

Happy New Year everyone! I know it has been over a week since I last uploaded and I will explain what's been going with me in an upcoming video. I just want you to know I am super appreciative for all the support and feel so grateful for the position I'm in. Sometimes it's hard for me to deal with the stresses, pressure and responsibility that comes with having so many eyes on me, but knowing that we have such a supportive community around Simnett Nutrition who doesn't forget about me after a week of no uploads, definitely eases my worries. Thanks for the love friends.

    Paul Krischke says:

great video again – as always. But it seems that the autofocus of your camera is getting worse and worse. :/

    Chris Rickman says:

On that food diary app. Do you know what the best day of eating would be according to stats? Does that make sense. Would be a cool to find that out for a experiment. What foods hit all the nutrients.

    buff barr says:

    Great recipe!

    FabFour Fever says:

I've gained weight recently because I eat my feelings. 😢 So it can be really hard when you're feeling conflicted about eating "enough" to try and be a healthy whole foods vegan and get all of your nutrients, but at the same time eating too much (and for me, that's mainly the vegan junk snacks 😖) is what is making you fat . The last thing I want to do after 1.5 years of being vegan is go low-carb, again (I know first-hand that it's not healthy, plus, I'm vegan for the animals and could never go back to eating them), but I can't keep gaining and a sedentary life doesn't help. Is it really necessary to "stuff" ourselves as WFPB vegans, Derek?.. because I feel that unconsciously that is part of my problem. You're always told to make sure you "eat enough!", but isn't there such a thing as too much? I remember an interview with T. Colin Campbell where he said that the body is incredibly intelligent and can assimilate from day to day what you've eaten and that there's no reason to overstuff yourself as long as you eat a wide variety of whole foods. Your thoughts? (And thank you for all you do). xx

    Kevin B says:

New vegan here… can you do a video on a bodybuilding 5+ day meal prep? Low or no soy products like tofu/Tempe. Thanks man.

    K_ranne says:

Hey Derek! Could you maybe explain the whole getting the stomach acid up and running again at some point? I’m afraid I didn’t understand the whole dialing up and down on the betain :/

    Happy Healin' Vegan says:

Derek, I love your videos and all of your recipes! But I had to laugh at this one because it's exactly what I make for my dog (minus the onion and garlic, of course!). This is not an insult to you though, since she had exceptional taste. Thank you for all of your ideas and for being so down to earth. I send new vegans your way all the time!

    John Billups says:

#simnettnutrition Can you do a bodybuilding 5 day meal prep? Im a new vegan and would greatly appreciate your help! Thanks!

    Caro ThePeanut says:

    You look great! 🙂

    vanillahugz says:

You look different in this video?! The quinoa mix is amazing in steamed green cabbage cups, I do a tomato sauce base because it reminds me of cabbage rolls. Thanks for the video.

    Rafael Villalobos says:

A cool vegan snack you should try is sliced jicama with Tajín and lemon.

    Pavel Blacktown says:

I eat plant-based diet for more than 6 month and there were some situations like when eat out and i may order some wok rice and when i start eating it i may realise it was made with some insignificant amount of egg, and i just don't wanna go hardcore and bother a lot about it, i'm ok to eat it, but i won't order it again. If it would be meat, i'd ask to change it ofcourse. Sometimes for me it's also important to be flexible in some situations and don't go hard on myself, it's better for mental health in my opinion 🙂 I tried to be hardcore at the beginning but then just realised how stressful it may be. Most important is to stay true to yourself about eating plant-based 🙂
