    Every year more and more houses have a vegetarian or vegan sitting at the Christmas table, it can be stressful for the cook who has only ever had to serve one diet as there’s a bit of change in the ritual that is Christmas dinner. BUT WE’RE HERE TO HELP!! Our 12 days of Christmas is here to take the stress out of feeding your loved ones this Christmas we’re going to upload a delicious vegan Christmas recipe every day for 12 days. Whether the whole house is vegan of just yourself this will make for big smiles at the dinner table.

    Stuffed butternut squash is an amazing main, it can be relatively cheap or as extravagant as you’d like. We stuffed ours with a delicious lentil filling. It’s so juicy and filling you might want to make 2 just incase. A perfect Christmas dinner and it’ll be the talk of the table.

    I have literally learned to cook from watching your cooking shows. I actually made a curry this morning without following any recipe and it was amazing. Once you get the hang of the ratio of spices and ingredients you can put the recipe aside and just wing it, which is so much faster and fun.

    I made this for Christmas and brought it over to the in-laws, the family members who enjoy a good squash loved it! I must say that I cooked the squash well, a good 40 min before I stuffed it with the delicious lentil stuffing and then baked it for another 40 min. In the baking pan along with the stuffed squash, I also added yellow potatoes, sweet potatoes and turnips seasoned with s&p, oregano, olive oil and some mustard powder. This was also my first vegan Christmas, I did it hooray! Thanks again for this recipe guys!! I'm eager and looking forward to trying a lot more recipes from your channel!! Hugs and kisses and Happy New Year 2018!!

    This looks incredible! I am going to prepare this for my husband and 18month old for Xmas day 🙂 we normally have fake meat but this looks a far better and taster option. What can I use instead of wine? Veg stock? Also can I prepare is Xmas eve and then do the last 20mins cook on Xmas day?

    I did a test run today and it was delicious! For the next time I'm going to plan in a little more time for the squash to get soft, maybe rather 40 to 60 minutes. Anyway thanks for that great recipe 🙂

    Love you guys! You might want to watch the amount of salt that you use. Tamari is high sodium and I pretty much stopped using it years ago. I have recently experienced the health consequences (stroke and labile high blood pressure) of not paying attention to my sodium intake. Now I read labels all the time for salt. Almost 40 years vegetarian/6 yrs of which were vegan here (only animal product I consume now is honey)
