  • Pizza Base ingredients:

    ⦁ 130g (4.6 oz) White rice flour
    ⦁ 40g (1.4 oz) Brown rice flour
    ⦁ 40g (1.4 oz) Potato starch
    ⦁ 35g (1.2 oz) Almond meal
    ⦁ 15g (0.53 oz) Tapioca starch
    ⦁ 1 & 1/4 cups of water (warmed to 38c)
    ⦁ 2 Tablespoons of Olive oil
    ⦁ 2 Teaspoons of Psyllium husk
    ⦁ 1 & 1/2 Teaspoons of Baking powder
    ⦁ 1 Teaspoon of Salt
    ⦁ 1/2 Teaspoon of Instant yeast
    ⦁ Cooking oil spray

    Add all the dry ingredients in a mixer and mix together. Slowly add the water and oil. Then beat the mixture for 3~5mins.
    Cover with plastic and let sit for 1.30hrs
    Prepare a pizza tray by covering it with baking paper. Spray oil onto the baking paper. Pour the batter onto the baking paper and then spray the top of the batter with oil. Cut a piece of plastic wrap and place it on top of the batter. Using your hand evenly press the batter into the pizza tray.
    Bake the pizza base on 160c (320f) for approx 40mins or until light brown.
    Let the pizza base cool before adding your toppings

    Pizza Sauce ingredients:
    ⦁ 1 Tin (400g) of Chopped tomatoes
    ⦁ 1 Teaspoon (5ml) of Red wine vinegar
    ⦁ 1 Teaspoon (5ml) of coconut sugar (Or brown sugar)
    ⦁ 1/2 Teaspoon (2.5ml) of Salt
    ⦁ 1/4 Teaspoon (1.25ml) of ground Black pepper
    ⦁ 1/4 Teaspoon (1.25ml) of Garlic powder
    ⦁ 1/4 Teaspoon (1.25ml) of Oregano

    Add all ingredients to a saucepan and cook on medium heat. Cook without a lid until the sauce thickens (approx 10mins) Allow to cool to room temperature.
