    Andy Makin says:

AWESOME! I made this last night for a table full of family as a trial run for Chrimbo.  Amazing meal! Everyone loved it! Big recommendation from me!
It's all really easy too and well worth making the dough the night before if you're busy, especially Christmas day!
I made sure I kneaded it well for 10 minutes and the texture was bang on I think.   Great work Gaz and thank you!!!

    DoodlesAndDenim says:

Wow! That’s a sexy roast! I challenge you to do a GLUTEN FREE roast! Something with TVP or tempeh perhaps? You can do it! 😀😀😀

    Myrest says:

What happens if I don't have a cheesecloth, so I send it commando in the oven?

    Carolyn Herbert says:

Six minutes into the video, there appeared an advert for a cattle TB antibiotic, featuring a cattle farmer (ireland). Brilliant you are Gaz, I make the steak recipe seitan on a regular basis so am looking forward to doing this one on Christmas Day!

    Trude Nemeth says:

    Are you Russell Brand's brother?

    Golden Angel says:

    You lost me at GLUTEN

    Lucas Petry says:

All your videos have meat ads play in the beginning.

    Bren B says:

Can the seitan part be roasted in advance and then froze? My baby is due just before Christmas so it would be great to get the roast made so we only have to add the pastry, etc Christmas morning!

    Shakeem Diggz says:

you basically have to make three of these to feed a family for holiday dinner

    Asim Khan says:

Could I make this Christmas seitan recipe the day before?

    Ann Carter says:

Perfect, I’ve been looking for a decent alternative for ages, I love you!

    Michele Marshall says:

Gas What is your key to covering up the sharp unpleasant aftertaste of wheat gluten. I haven't been successful thus far. I would like to try this recipe but need to know if that aftertaste will be there. By the way, I like your unique flare. Watch you a lot. Thanks, Michele

    dogonsister says:

I'm totally making this for Thanksgiving!

    P123456789 says:

Made this twice last year and I'm about to make it again, killer recipe

    Madyson Weaver says:

Okay, I am definitely making this for Christmas this year! I love to cook and I’m doing recipe hunting for this Christmas. You always outdo yourself, Gaz!

    Jams Ward says:

Does anyone know if I can make this ahead? If I make most of it but not cook the final part with the pastry, would that work?

    Little Dot says:

What can I use instead of cider?

    Wicked Games says:

Can you pretty please do a thanks giving holiday meal. Something with vegan turkey

    Chris NotReallyThatSweet says:

Surely this would be the main, not the stuffed squash one you said is. Looks amazing though and looking forward to my first Vegan Christmas! <3
